Do you see it?
The more you look around my place,
both inside and outside ...
... it's quite obvious a retired fire captain lives here.
On windy days, this little fire truck windchime makes beautiful music.
And sugar plum is mesmerized by it.

ReplyDeleteBecky, that sweet sugar plum is actually my great-niece. I'm still without a grandbaby, but it's all good. Maybe one of these years. Hugs.
DeleteI love that firetruck windchime. I have never seen one like it. However, the cute little one wins the prize.
ReplyDeleteSweet picture of the little one and cool wind chime also...
ReplyDeleteThat is so utterly cute! Never seen anything quite like it!

Folks who know me IRL know that one of my most favorite things in the whole word is a set of wind chimes. I have them hanging inside beneath vents in hopes that they will chime. I absolutely love them.
ReplyDeleteI particularly love whimsical ones. That one is adorable! (Don't tell The Man that I used that word to describe it. Say, um... that I said they were unique and manly. OK?)
And you must be so excited to have Sweet Pea's grandparents moving closer! Saw that over at Gayle's place.
Very excited big sis has arrived! And I think "adorable" suits that wind chime perfectly. :)
DeleteQuestion: Do you sing the song "Sweet Pea" to her? I'll bet you do.
ReplyDeleteShe's my sugar plum and her Aunt Gayle's sweet pea. I will be sure and tell her to polish up her vocal chords, although I'm not certain she knows that little tune. You may have to hum a few bars.
DeleteVery interesting wind chime, and gorgeous "Sugar Plum".
ReplyDeleteThat is pretty cool!

Nice one. Fire trucks are so cool.

I have never seen a firetruck windchime. Very cool! And you must be very proud of your hubby. That is one hard job to have your guy go out and do, but oh so necessary for all of us. Kit
ReplyDeleteI've never seen a firetruck wind chime either! Engine red! Love it. And Sugar Plum's little plastic barrette in her hair is precious. How I remember those. Nothing holds fine baby hair as well as those things.
ReplyDeleteWhat a great wind-chime! I love the fire trucks and would be mesmerized too!
ReplyDeleteWhat a cute windchime. I thought of you earlier in the week. I don't visit much around with others as I use to. But, how I miss Simple Pleasures! Have a great weekend, thanks for stopping by.
